The greatest risk may be “issue fatigue” and the level of public apathy that results when leaders fail to acknowledge the severity of the issues we face.  Arizona cannot afford to continue making excuses for the low-income overall performance of its schools.

The best antidote to issue fatigue is hope and a renewed sense of purpose. Beat the Odds challenges us to learn from schools that are succeeding and to replicate their practices.
